Clip of Funny News Video

There are some clips of funny news videos where you feel like you shouldn't laugh but can't help yourself. The "Compilation of Reporters Getting Owned" is one of those videos. It gives me a whole new level of appreciation for what some of the reporters that bring the daily news have to go through. Sometimes, the people around them provide an unpleasant or unexpected twist. Some of the journalists are just in the wrong place in the wrong time. Others are victims of their own sense of adventure, suffering mishap when they try something they obviously haven't attempted before.

A few of the events in the video have you wincing, hoping the reporters were all right. An angry wrestler smacks a reporter in one scene; a rowdy passerby tackles the newsman out of the blue in another. An aspiring comedian presses a pie into the face of one female reporter, prompting her to taunt the crowd while trying to identify her unknown assailant.

A reporter covering a horse racing event fails to see the horse and rider appear behind him out of a cloud of dust; they run into him and all of them fall down. Likewise, a man reporting on some snow sledders misjudges their route and one of the sledders collides with him, causing him to do an impromptu flip. A reporter on the side of the road in a snowstorm, ahead of a snowplow, is bowled over by a wave of snow as the snowplow clears the street. One reporter holding an unhappy cat in her arms for a short news segment, is the victim of a the cat's displeasure as it swipes its claws towards her face and jumps down.
